OUT-2 RECEIVES CARBON CREDITS
OUT-2, together with our Client's CMA-CGM and HOLCIM have just been awarded a total of 33 metric tonnes of certified carbon dioxide credits as part of InterfaceFLOR's Mission Zero Initiative.

In collaboration with our Clients, and through the projects undertake together, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. We thank our clients for having the confidence to allow us to specify material and products that help us to achieve this goal.

OUT-2...ASIA'S 1st WWF GREEN OFFICE
The Staff and Management of OUT-2 Design are very proud to announce that we have just been awarded WWF's "Green Office" accreditation. This makes us the first design firm in Asia to receive this accreditation.

Over the past 3 months our staff and management have worked together with the WWF to develop and implement an innovative and comprehensive Environmental Management System (EMS).

Our office and our systems were audited in August and we received confirmation of our successful accreditation in September this year.

UNILEVER HOMEBASE NEARS COMPLETION
Unilever’s new 16,000sqm bespoke office building is nearing completion. The new facility will provide world-class facilities for more than 700 staff who will be working there. OUT-2 was been working closely with Unilever since 2005 to create both a building and a workplace that is uniquely ‘Unilever Vietnam’. OUT-2 2008… CELEBRATING 5 YEARS IN VIETNAM
In 2008 OUT-2 design will celebrate 5 years of operations in Vietnam. We would like to thank all of our clients, colleagues and collaborators for all your support in the past. 2008 is already shaping up to be a year for OUT-2 with projects currently underway for Centerpoint, CMA-CGA, Holcim, Nestle, Q-Bar, Sanctuary Resort and more. 2008 will also see the completion of one of Vietnam’s most important office projects, Unilever Homebase – the new 16,000sqm Head Office Facility in District 7 HCMC.

CONGRATULATIONS AIS - KINDERGARTEN OPENS FRIDAY 17 AUGUST - SEE NEWS
The Australian International Schools new Kindergarten Campus located in District 2, HCMC will open on Friday August 17th. The 1000sqm Campus has been designed to maximize the childrens enjoyment of internal and external learning areas. The facilies include 6 indoor classrooms, a swimming pool, outdoor garden, play areas, and covered spaces. OUT-2 would like to congratulate AIS and everyone that has worked with us on the project. We hope that this project makes a valuable contribution to the success of AIS in Vietnam.

UNILEVER HOMEBASE - HCMC HEAD OFFICE COMMENCES CONSTRUCTION
Construction works for Unilever Vietnams new head office facility UNILEVER HOMEBASE commenced on Monday December 11 in HCMC Vietnam.

The facility will be home to more than 600 staff and will provide a world-class environment for employees and visitors alike.

OUT-2 design have been working with Unilever Vietnam for the past 12 months providing services that include Strategic Briefing, Workplace Strategy, Base Building Briefing, Base Building Design Evaluation, Interior Design, Facilities Management Strategy and Workplace Change Management.

The building, which will be one of the most effective and efficient work environments in the region, is due for completion in late 2007.

UNILEVER HANOI HEAD OFFICE - PHASE 2 OPENS
Congratulations to Unilever Vietnam on the opening of Phase 2 of their Northern Region Head office in Hanoi, Vietnam.

OUT-2s design for the facility blends company values with the unique character of its northern operations.

Staff were involved throughout the design process to ensure that unique characteristic of different Business Units were incorporated into a unified environment that reinforces corporate values and objectives.

ARCHITECTURE OF CHANGE - a recent paper by Andrew Currie, founding partner of OUT-2 Limited, published by Curtin University
R.E.C. Vietnam, a recent study tour by students from Australia's Curtin University, culminated in an exhibition of student work at RMIT's recently opened HCMC Campus. As part of the tour, Andrew Currie contributed a paper entitled "Architecture of Change - Practice, Research and Education in South East Asia" which has been published as part of the tour's catalogue. A copy of this paper is available upon request.

NEWS: OUT-2 helps raise over US$22,000 for charity in Saigon, Vietnam
Once again OUT-2 has been a major sponsor of AusCham's annual charity ball in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This year's "Intergalactic" theme attracted over 430 earthlings, and raised more than US$22,000 for charity. For the past 3 years, OUT-2 Limited and its staff have volunteered their time and their professional services to design the environment for the event. Last year the charity funded the construction of Lotus 7 Kindergarten, a new school built on a green field site in Cu Chi District, HCMC Vietnam.

OUT-2 designs a new image for VIETNAM AIRLINES
In response to Vietnam Airlines continuing growth and business development, OUT-2 DESIGN has been commission to develop a new contemporary look for Vietnam Airlines' customer service offices across Vietnam's southern region. The new look is designed to communicate the Airline's new corporate image and livery as well as highlighting the increasing number of destinations serviced by Vietnam Airlines both in Vietnam and around the world. NEWS: OUT-2's MESA restaurant featured in the Sydney Morning Herald's GOOD LIVING magazine
OUT-2's MESA restaurant in Shanghai was featured on the cover of the Sydney Morning Herald's GOOD LIVING magazine on Tuesday 19th July 2005. The magazine featured MESA and its Chef Steve Baker as well as a number of other Australian Chefs working in Shanghai in an article entitled "Orient Express" by Ardyn Bernoth.
