OUT-2 PROJECT UPDATE SUMMARY...
AIS ORCHARD 2 CAMPUS...Completion of the Australian International Schools new Orchard 2 Campus , in District 2, HCMC. The new, purpose-build facility is located adjacent to AIS’s existing Cherry Blossom facility that was designed by OUT-2 in 2007.

REFICO REAL ESTATE HEAD OFFICE...Completion of the new Corporate Head Office of Refico Real Estate located at Centrepoint, Vietnam’s first ‘green’ office building.

CENTREPOINT MANAGEMENT OFFICES...Completion of Cnetrepoint’s Management offices.

IOM’s AUSTRALIAN VISA APPLICATION OFFICE...Completion of the new Australian Visa Application Centre in District 1, HCMC. The centre was recently opened by Australian Consul General, Mr. Graeme Swift.

ANZ FLAGSHIP BRANCH...Construction is well underway on ANZ’s new flagship retain banking facility in District 1 HCMC.

ANZ COMMERCIAL OFFICES...Construction of ANZ’s new commercial offices in HCMC is nearing completion.

OGILVY MATHER VIETNAM...Construction has commenced on the new head offices for Ogilvy Mather Vietnam.

OUT-2 DESIGN STUDIO OPENS
For those of us who love beautiful design, Ho Chi Minh City now promises an entirely new level of experience with OUT-2 STUDIO. Tucked away in a quiet downtown corner, OUT-2 STUDIO is an intimate, light-filled space that offers a constantly changing palette of delectable design by local talent, while operating as a treasure trove of activity, information and interactions that promote design in all its facets.

Exploration of the ground floor will uncover an array of simple, clever, well-designed must-have objects which will make perfect gifts for yourself or other people whilst supporting local designers and makers in Vietnam.

Studio space is available for short-term rental to designers or artists, keeping the OUT-2 STUDIO brimming with creative zest. At any time, a visit promises unexpected encounters, as new designers showcase their work, or as OUT-2 design STUDIO morphs into a temporary venue for exhibitions or talks by visiting designers. This is a truly unique space that forms multiple bridges to the world of design and creativity.

There is a unique combination of innovative design by names that are already established in Saigon, such as Kevin Lane and Vivek Chaudhary of vivekkevin, alongside the fresh energy of emerging designers who hire space on a short term basis to launch their brands or showcase experimental ideas to new audiences.

LEAN & GREEN FORUM - THURSDAY MAY 21 2009
OUT-2 in conjunction with Austrade, WWF Green Office and Indochine Engineering are proud to announce the LEAN & GREEN FORUM to be held at RMIT University, HCMC on Thursday May 21st from 08:00 to 13:00.

The Forum is aimed at providing building owners, users and developers with knowledge on what options are available in Vietnam for those who want to take a more environmentally responsible approach to their business operations.

OUT-2 RECEIVES CARBON CREDITS
OUT-2, together with our Client's CMA-CGM and HOLCIM have just been awarded a total of 33 metric tonnes of certified carbon dioxide credits as part of InterfaceFLOR's Mission Zero Initiative.

In collaboration with our Clients, and through the projects undertake together, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment. We thank our clients for having the confidence to allow us to specify material and products that help us to achieve this goal.

OUT-2...1st DESIGN FIRM IN ASIA TO BE AWARDED WWF GREEN OFFICE
The Staff and Management of OUT-2 Design are very proud to announce that we have just been awarded WWF's "Green Office" accreditation. This makes us the first design firm in Asia to receive this accreditation.

Over the past 3 months our staff and management have worked together with the WWF to develop and implement an innovative and comprehensive Environmental Management System (EMS).

Our office and our systems were audited in August and we received confirmation of our successful accreditation in September this year.
