Andrew Currie is an accomplished architect, workplace strategist, change manager and business leader.
In 2003, Andrew co-founded OUT-2 Design & Workplace-Asia, a strategic design consultancy with a unique service offering that embodied the unique mix of knowledge and skills that Andrew had acquired during an impressive career working for a small number of leading design and strategic planning firms in South East Asia.
Today OUT-2 Design & Workplace-Asia has grown to become one of the leading specialist design and workplace-solutions consultancies in the region. Their projects have received international acclaim from both the design and property industries, and their pioneering work in the areas of briefing, strategic planning, design, and sustainability has led to global commissions for a number of key clients.
Andrew Currie founded OUT-2 design in 2003 in response to a growing need for high quality, strategic design services across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to this, Andrew was a Director of DEGW, one of the world pre-eminent workplace and design consultancies. During this time Andrew was responsible for a number of award-winning projects in the Asia-Pacific and Hong Kong.
In addition to working with many of the region’s leading organisations on projects ranging from retail outlets to Corporate Headquarters to Science Parks, Andrew is also actively involved in tertiary and executive education; teaching and speaking at Universities and events in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Vietnam.
Andrew has a passion for design and a desire to see design used as a catalyst for positive change in both developed and developing countries. He is the driving force behind all of OUT-2’s design & strategic services & projects with recent clients that include: ANZ Bank, Baileys, Fosters Limited, Lufthansa German Airlines, Ove Arup & Partners, Unilever Vietnam, United Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, and VinaCapital.
